Ishan Kishan hails from a humble background and developed a passion for cricket at a young age. Kishan was just 16 years old when he made debut for Jharkhand in the Ranji Trophy, India’s premier domestic cricket tournament.

In the very same year in June 2021, he was also named in the ODI and T20 squad of India for their tour to Sri Lanka where he had made his ODI debut.
