Amanjot Kaur is a seam-bowling allrounder from Chandigarh who has rapidly established herself as a key player for India across formats. The 25-year-old made her international debut in 2023 as a replacement for the injured Pooja Vastrakar, immediately making an impact with a Player-of-the-Match performance in her first T20I against South Africa, rescuing India from a collapse. Later that year, she picked up a four-wicket haul on her ODI debut. A calm and composed cricketer, Amanjot played a crucial role in India’s ODI World Cup triumph in 2025, scoring 146 runs and taking six wickets, including a match-turning catch to dismiss Laura Wolvaardt in the final. She also won two WPL titles with Mumbai Indians, who picked her up for INR 50 lakh in the inaugural auction. Her journey from Punjab to Chandigarh and back to Punjab taught her valuable lessons about the game, and her father, a carpenter, gave up his job to support her cricketing dreams.
