India | Batting All Rounder
Father: Shailesh Singh, Mother: Anita Singh, Sister: Shrutika Singh
Shashank Singh is a resilient right-handed batting allrounder whose journey through Indian cricket is a testament to patience and perseverance. Growing up playing Mumbai’s famed Kanga League with a reputation as a six-hitter, Shashank struggled to break into the domestic set-up despite his unorthodox yet effective technique. He spent years on IPL benches with Delhi Daredevils, Rajasthan Royals, and Sunrisers Hyderabad before finally getting a consistent run with Punjab Kings in 2024. That season, he announced himself with a stunning 29-ball 61 against Gujarat Titans and went on to score 354 runs at a strike rate of 164.65, establishing himself as a reliable finisher. He backed it up with another 350-run season in 2025, coming agonizingly close to leading PBKS to the title. Along the way, he also made history in domestic cricket, becoming the first Indian to score 150-plus runs and take five wickets in the same List-A match.
