If you are starting to move into late-game areas like the Cursed Swamp, standard weapons and basic ammo simply won’t be reliable anymore. To survive the toughest enemies and craft some of the strongest endgame gear, you will need to make the Enchanting Table in Windrose.
It unlocks the Arborum crafting tier, which is where most late-game materials come from. Once you have it running, you can start turning rare resources into stronger crafting components.
All Materials Required for the Enchanting Table
To unlock this refining station, you must progress deep into the swamp biome and gather specific late-game resources. You will also need a Smelting Furnace at your base to process the magical components.
Here is the exact list of materials you need to collect:
- 3x Mire Metal Ingots
- 10x Hewn Stone
- 10x Plant Fiber
- 2x Essence Arborum
1. Mire Metal Ingots

You cannot just create these ingots by mining a single node. Start by breaking Ancient Debris in swamp ruins to collect Ancient Scraps.
Then, you need Quagmire Powder. This is a rare resource and it can be obtained by killing Plague enemies such as Witches, Hunters, and Thralls. Stronger versions of these enemies drop more powder but they are much harder to deal with.
Once you have both the scraps and the powder, take them back to your base and process them inside the Large Smelting Furnace.
2. Hewn Stone

First, collect Ancient Scraps from the swamp. After the blueprint unlocks, go to your Workbench.
You can craft Hewn Stone just by breaking raw stone that you mine from rock deposits around the map.
3. Plant Fiber

You might already know that you can collect Plant Fiber using bare hands from small shrubs, bushes, and other harvestable plants across the Coastal Jungle and Foothills biomes.
If you somehow run out, just step outside your base and harvest a few bushes. It’s enough to hit the required amount.
4. Essence Arborum

Essence Arborum is one of the key materials for enchanting. To get it, you must locate Plague Wood zones within the Cursed Swamp.
You can confirm the area by the Wood Plague meter that appears on your screen. Chop down the infected trees in this area and collect Plague Wood.
Then take the wood back to your Furnace and process it to create Essence Arborum.
How to Craft the Enchanting Table in Windrose

Once you collect all the materials, get back to your base. Open your building menu and look for the Refining section right at the very end.
Select the Enchanting Table and place it in your base. Keep in mind that this table requires a roof over it and must be placed within the range of your Bonfire to function properly. As of now there are no upgrade tiers for this station.
To use it, simply walk up to it and interact with the menu. Unlike other workbenches that focus on simple crafting it is designed specifically to fuse your high-tier base materials with magical reagents.
You will notice that gathering the base resources is only half the battle, as almost every recipe relies heavily on rare drops from swamp creatures.

Right now, the Enchanting Table in Windrose is used to craft Arborum-tier materials. These are ultra-rare base components that you would need to craft S-tier gear.

By refining these Arborum materials you will eventually unlock some of the strongest endgame weapons and upgrades. For example, you need these refined materials to forge the Plague Halberd, the Arboris Saber, and the Rapier of Devastation.
Beyond melee weapons, you can also use Ingot Arborum to craft Bullet Arborum. It is the best ammo currently available for your firearms as it offers a massive 30% boost to your critical damage.
