Brother: Beuren Hendricks, Wife: Lee-Ann Hendricks
Reeza Hendricks is a destructive South African opening batter known for his crisp shot-making, particularly through the covers, and his ability to pace an innings while scoring quickly at both ends. The 36-year-old from Kimberley has been a consistent performer in white-ball cricket since his international debut in 2014, but his breakthrough came in 2018 when he scored a century on ODI debut against Sri Lanka, becoming one of the few South Africans to achieve that feat. That same year, he became the first player to score centuries in all three South African franchise competitions in a single season, showcasing his versatility across formats. Hendricks has been a regular starter for South Africa in limited-overs cricket, with standout performances including three fifties in a row against England in 2022 and a crucial 74 against India later that year. A globetrotter on the T20 circuit, he has featured in leagues around the world, including the IPL, SA20, BPL, PSL, and LPL, while also playing a key role in Jozi Stars’ Mzansi Super League title win with 412 runs in eight innings.
