Jemimah Rodrigues is one of Indian women’s cricket most accomplished middle-order batters, renowned for her ability to deliver under pressure on the biggest stages. The 25-year-old from Mumbai emerged from a multi-sport background, excelling in football, basketball, and hockey at the national level before choosing to focus on cricket full-time. Her international breakthrough came in 2018, and she has since become a vital cog in India’s batting lineup. Rodrigues’ crowning achievement came in the 2025 ODI World Cup semi-final, where her unbeaten 127 off 134 balls powered India to the highest successful chase in women’s ODI history against Australia, propelling them to their first world title. Known for her versatility across formats, she has scored three Test fifties in five innings and has been a consistent performer in franchise cricket worldwide, including the WPL where Delhi Capitals bought her for INR 2.2 crore. Her ability to adapt, finish innings, and her athleticism in the field make her one of India’s most valuable white-ball players.
