Robin Singh Ends 16-Year Journey With Mumbai Indians
Former India cricketer Robin Singh has officially ended his long association with the Mumbai Indians franchise.
Singh had been part of the Mumbai Indians family since 2010. While he stopped working with the main IPL team after 2022, he continued with MI Emirates in the ILT20 league. Now he has decided to part ways completely.
In a post on X, Singh wrote, “I’d like to share that I have officially parted ways with the Mumbai Indians. Although I have not been part of their IPL staff since 2022, as of this year also with their team in the Emirates league. Thank you to the entire MI family and the fans for the support through this remarkable journey of mine since 2010!!! Wishing the franchise good luck in the years ahead.”

Singh served as the head coach of the five-time IPL champions for three seasons from 2010 to 2012. He was later replaced by John Wright.
On the field, Singh played one Test and 136 ODIs for India between 1989 and 2001. He scored 2,336 runs and took 69 wickets with his medium pace. He was also known as one of the best fielders of his time.
After retiring, Singh moved into coaching. He worked as the fielding coach of the Indian team and also took up coaching roles in many T20 leagues around the world, including the Caribbean Premier League, Bangladesh Premier League, and Lanka Premier League.
