Matt Henry is a right-arm fast medium bowler from Christchurch, New Zealand. He almost missed out on playing for his country after a serious back surgery in 2012. But he made a strong comeback and has since become a key bowler for New Zealand in big tournaments. Henry played important roles in the 2015 World Cup final and the 2019 World Cup semi-final, where he took three big wickets against India. He bowls fast, often over 140kmph, and likes to pitch the ball full to trouble batsmen. Henry has also played in the IPL for Chennai Super Kings, Punjab Kings, and Lucknow Super Giants.
