Karun Nair is a right-handed top-order batter from Jodhpur, known for his solid technique and ability to score big runs. He played six Tests for India between 2016 and 2017, and his career highlight came when he scored an unbeaten 303 against England in Chennai. That made him only the second Indian batsman to hit a triple century in Test cricket. But after a few quiet matches, he lost his place in the national team for nearly eight years. Many thought his comeback chances were over, especially when he could not find a spot in the Karnataka state team in 2022. However, Nair refused to give up. He moved to Vidarbha and started piling on runs again. His incredible form in domestic cricket, including five hundreds in eight innings, earned him a surprise recall to the Indian Test side in June 2025. He is best known for scoring an unbeaten 303 runs in a single Test innings for India against England in 2016. He is only the second Indian batsman to hit a triple century in Test cricket.
