Australia | Batting All Rounder
Father: Gary Green, Mother: Sherry Green
Cameron Green is a talented batting allrounder from Australia. He is a right-handed batsman and bowls right-arm fast medium. Standing tall with his 200cm frame, Green was seen as a future star from a very young age. He made his first-class debut as a 17-year-old, taking five wickets in that match. Early in his career, back injuries stopped him from bowling often. But instead of giving up, he focused on his batting and became a genuine allrounder. Green has scored Test hundreds, taken five wickets in an innings, and become a big name in IPL cricket. He has played for Mumbai Indians and now plays for Kolkata Knight Riders. Even with some injury struggles and tough patches in Test cricket, he keeps working hard and finding ways to contribute for Australia

Cameron Green is a batting allrounder. That means he is picked mainly for his batting but can also bowl fast medium and take important wickets for his team.
He has played for two IPL teams so far. He started with Mumbai Indians and later joined Kolkata Knight Riders. In 2025, he became the most expensive overseas player in IPL history.
Green made his Test debut for Australia against India. He was first picked in Australia's ODI and T20I squads to face India, and then he played his first Test match against the same team.
Some of his best moments include a maiden Test hundred in Ahmedabad, a five-wicket haul against South Africa at the MCG, and a stunning 47-ball century in the IPL. He also scored a brilliant 174 not out for Australia in Wellington.
Yes, injuries have been a part of his journey. He has had several stress fractures in his back, which stopped him from bowling at different points. He also badly broke his finger during a Test match and later had back surgery that kept him out for a full season.
He was born on June 3, 1999, which makes him 26 years old.
