Father Name: Shri Sudhakar Roy
Anukul Roy is a left-handed batting allrounder from Jharkhand who bowls slow left-arm orthodox spin. At 27, he has built a reputation as a clutch performer, particularly after his standout role in Jharkhand’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy title-winning campaign in 2025/26. Roy first grabbed attention as the joint-highest wicket-taker in India’s 2018 U19 World Cup victory, claiming 14 wickets. Despite limited IPL game time across stints with Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, he has consistently impressed as a gun fielder. His recent explosive form in domestic cricket, averaging over 60 at a strike rate above 160, suggests a long-awaited bigger role could be coming in IPL 2026.
