Is Rishabh Pant Cricket’s Biggest Fraud?

Rishabh Pant messed up big time in the last game against Delhi Capitals. He scored zero runs, missed an easy stumping of Mohit Sharma that could’ve won it for Lucknow Super Giants, and made dumb bowling calls that lost them the match. This isn’t new; Pant keeps letting us down after all the hype.

His one big moment? That awesome knock in the 2021 Gabba Test that helped India win. Cool, we get it—he had a good day. But what else has he done? Nothing much in the IPL or for India since then. Instead, we see him swinging wildly, missing shots, and sometimes yelling at his teammates for no reason. It’s like he’s all talk and no game.

His batting looks like a kid playing gully cricket; crazy swings, no plan. And yet, the BCCI keeps giving him chances. Why? God knows. One good innings doesn’t make you a star.
