The 37-year-old from Punjab made her India debut in 2009 and has since become a figurehead alongside legends like Jhulan Goswami and Mithali Raj. Her career-defining 171 not out against Australia in the 2017 World Cup semifinal brought women’s cricket into the public consciousness in India, and she was front and centre again in the 2025 World Cup victory, leading the side to its finest hour.
