Prasidh Krishna is an Indian fast bowler known for his sharp pace and the extra bounce he generates from a good length. Born in Bangalore, this right-arm fast medium bowler made a dream start to his ODI career in 2021, taking 4 wickets for 54 runs against England. That was the best bowling figures by any Indian debutant at the time. Injuries have been a big challenge for him, including stress fractures and a quadriceps problem. But whenever he is fit, he has shown he can be a match-winner. Prasidh plays for Gujarat Titans in the IPL and has also represented Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals. His best IPL season came in 2025 when he took 25 wickets for Gujarat Titans and finished as the top wicket-taker.

Unlike many Indian pacers, Prasidh can get good bounce from just short of a good length. He bowls fast and accurately, which makes him tough to face, especially in the middle overs of a match.
He has played for Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, and currently plays for Gujarat Titans.
On his ODI debut against England in 2021, he took 4 wickets for 54 runs. That was the best bowling figures by an Indian bowler on debut at that time.
He made his first-class debut in 2015 at the age of 19, playing against Bangladesh A in Mysore. He took a wicket with his very first ball.
Yes, injuries have been a major hurdle in his career. He had a stress fracture in his left leg in 2019, a back stress fracture in 2022, and a quadriceps injury in 2024.
He had a brilliant season for Gujarat Titans, taking 25 wickets and topping the wicket-taking charts. He also took his first four-wicket haul in the IPL.
