Father: Khursheed Ahmed
Khaleel Ahmed is a left-arm fast medium bowler from Tonk, Rajasthan. He made a name for himself as a reliable new-ball bowler in Indian cricket. Khaleel first came into the spotlight during his Under-19 days, where he played under coach Rahul Dravid. He made his IPL debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018 and later became a key bowler for Delhi Capitals. In the IPL 2024 season, he was one of the top wicket-takers in the powerplay. In 2025, he joined the Chennai Super Kings as a replacement for Deepak Chahar, taking on the job of bowling in the powerplay and at the death.

Khaleel Ahmed bowls left-arm fast medium. He is known for swinging the new ball and bowling tight lines in the powerplay.
He has played for three IPL teams so far. He started with Sunrisers Hyderabad, then moved to Delhi Capitals, and later joined Chennai Super Kings in 2025.
He made his IPL debut in 2018 for Sunrisers Hyderabad. His first match was the second qualifier of that season.
He is known for his effectiveness with the new ball. In IPL 2024, he was among the top wicket-takers in the powerplay, taking eight wickets in the first six overs across 14 matches.
He rose through the age-group ranks in Rajasthan cricket. He played for India Under-19s and was part of the 2016 Under-19 World Cup squad, where he worked with coach Rahul Dravid.
He was born on December 5, 1997, which makes him 28 years old.
