Innocent Kaia is a right-handed opening batter from Zimbabwe who finally earned his international breakthrough after nearly eight years of toil in the domestic circuit. The 33-year-old from Harare is the youngest of three Kaia brothers—Knowledge and Roy being the others—to play first-class cricket in Zimbabwe. His journey was patient; after a solitary Under-19 appearance in 2010, he made his List A debut in December 2013 and his first-class debut two months later.
