Avesh Khan is a tall, right-arm fast-medium bowler who has established himself as one of India’s most promising pace prospects across formats. Discovered at age 13 by coach Amay Khurasiya, the Indore-born quick made his first-class debut for Madhya Pradesh just before his 18th birthday and quickly rose through the ranks, representing India in two Under-19 World Cups. His breakthrough IPL campaign came in 2021 when he claimed 24 wickets for Delhi Capitals, finishing second on the bowling charts and earning a record-breaking INR 10 crore deal from Lucknow Super Giants. Avesh made his international debut in 2022 and has since become a regular presence in India’s white-ball setup, known for his variations, seam movement, and ability to deliver yorkers in the death overs. After successful stints with Rajasthan Royals and a return to Lucknow Super Giants, he remains a highly sought-after bowler in the IPL, prized for his pace and control at the back end of innings.
