Rohit made his ODI debut way back in 2007. Since then, he has rewritten record books. He is the only batter with three double centuries in ODIs. He led India to the 2024 T20 World Cup title and also won the 2025 Champions Trophy. His leadership and calmness have turned him into one of the game’s most respected figures.
The ceremony was not just about the award. It was also a proud family moment. His wife, Ritika Sajdeh, was seen beaming with pride as he received the honour. That moment touched many hearts on social media.
