The Born in Chaos event brings South Park into Fortnite with a set of limited-time quests that unlock free rewards. Unlike recent Fortnite events where you earned items just by gaining XP, this crossover asks you to complete very specific tasks. If you ignore the quests, you will miss the rewards.
This guide explains exactly how you can complete all South Park quests step by step using simple and clear methods.
How to Complete All South Park Quests in Fortnite (Born in Chaos Guide)
You can only finish the Born in Chaos quests in Battle Royale or Zero Build modes. The quests won’t reward you with XP right away but will be one of the few ways to get to the Born in Chaos free pass.
CRED and Memberberries will be your reward for finished quests. Imaginationland Airship glider will be the sweetest fruit of your labor once you gather enough Memberberries.
Each quest is divided into parts, and for each part, you must finish four quests to get one Memberberry.
Ride Five Different Rides or Kill Five Players at Cartmanland
During the event, Cartmanland will be the new place replacing Wonkeeland and it will also be one of the potential places where the players would land on the map. There are two options to complete this quest. You simply either kill five players at the Cartmanland area or have fun at the park by taking rides on the different attractions interacting with five of them.
If you are looking for a non-violent method, it is always better to parade around the rides for they are way easier. You only have to get on each ride once. There is no need to complete any games or stay for long on the ride. Just start and go.
The rides cover a large area with a roller coaster up and down, a ferris wheel in the middle, a slide, a river, and a shooting gallery. Since Cartmanland becomes popular for many players to drop down at the beginning of the match, landing here first will make it easier for you to complete this one’s quest.
Hit Opponents with SMGs 100 Times
This quest is very direct. You must hit enemies with submachine gun shots a total of 100 times. You do not need to eliminate anyone with the SMG. Every bullet that hits counts toward progress.
Both players and hostile NPCs count, which makes this quest easier than it sounds. The best approach is to keep an SMG as a secondary weapon and switch to it during fights.
Focus on close-range combat where SMGs perform best. Even if you lose the fight, the hits still count, so progress carries over across matches.
Eliminate a Player After Getting Knocked
This is one of the trickiest quests in the Born in Chaos set. You must eliminate a player after you have already been knocked or eliminated earlier in the same match. This includes being revived by teammates, rebooted, or returning using a special respawn item.
Playing in squads increases your chances because teammates can revive you. Once you are back in the fight, you only need to get one elimination for the quest to count.
You do not need to eliminate the same enemy who knocked you. Timing matters, but you can complete this naturally by playing aggressively after being revived.
Become a Boss
To complete this quest, you must defeat a boss NPC and pick up their dropped boss token. When you collect the token, your character transforms and gains special abilities.
Bosses appear at marked locations on the map, and their icons are visible to all players. This makes boss areas very dangerous early on.
If you are playing with a squad, this quest becomes much easier because the entire team receives credit when one person picks up the token. Be prepared for other players to attack while you fight the boss, and loot quickly once the fight is over.
Use Flushers in Three Different Matches
Flushers are the port-a-potties that teleport you to another location. To use one, interact with it and select the hide option. Once the teleport completes, the match counts toward your progress.
You must use a flusher in three separate matches, not three times in one game. These are commonly found at Cartmanland and other major points of interest. This quest is simple and low-risk, so it is best to do it early in each match before engaging in combat.
Deal 200 Damage Within 10 Seconds of Swimming
For this quest, you need to damage enemies shortly after leaving the water. You do not need to deal all 200 damage to one opponent, and you do not need to get a kill.
The easiest method is to land at locations near water where players often fight. Jump into the water briefly, climb out, and engage the nearest enemy right away. NPCs also count, which makes this quest much easier if you find guarded areas near rivers or pools.
Event Duration and Progress Tips
The Born in Chaos event runs until February 5, and new quest parts unlock over time. To earn the free glider, you need to collect six Memberberries.
This means you must complete four quests from multiple stages of the event. Checking the quest tab regularly ensures you do not miss any new objectives.
By focusing on one or two quests per match instead of trying to do everything at once, you can finish the entire South Park event without stress. If you plan your drops and play patiently, every quest in Born in Chaos is fully achievable, even for solo players.
