How to Complete the Courtyard of Precision Abyss Puzzle in Crimson Desert

Courtyard of Precision Abyss Puzzle in Crimson Desert
Key Takeaways
  • The puzzle is all about skill and how fast you can aim.
  • To finish grouped targets, you must use Focus Shot.
  • The air part is easier when you time it while going up.

The Courtyard of Precision Crimson Desert puzzle doesn’t have any riddles to solve. It checks how quickly and accurately you can aim when you’re under pressure. Every part of the game tests your timing, especially when the targets start moving and you have less time to react.

This is the last Abyss challenge after the Vault of Vengeance. If you finish it, you get a powerful reward. This puzzle can get very annoying if you miss your Focus Shot timing or run out of arrows in the middle of it. Here’s a simple, no-nonsense breakdown to help you get it done.

You have to go through a series of Abyss areas to get to this puzzle:

Spire of Stars, Sanctorum of Insight, Secret Garden, Vault of Vengeance, and Courtyard of Precision are all places to see.

A Skybridge opens up after you finish Vault of Vengeance. Cross it, use the teleporter, and then follow the short platforming path to get to the Courtyard.

Before you go in, make sure you have at least 40 to 60 arrows with you. There are no refills inside, and if you miss a shot, you have to start over.

Required Skills Before You Start

This Crimson Desert puzzle guide assumes that you have already unlocked the basic skills. You can’t finish the puzzle without these:

  • Focus Shot for hitting more than one target
  • Flight to use the central updraft Force Palm to turn on the last switch

Focus Shot is the most important here. You will not be able to hit grouped targets fast enough without it.

Step-by-Step Courtyard of Precision Solution

Step 1: Clear the Southern Targets

Begin on the south side. There are two yellow diamond targets.

Use Focus Shot to quickly mark both and let go of the shot. Timing is important here. If you wait too long, the first target will reset before you hit the second.

Step 2: Move to the Northern Set

Go to the north side, where four targets will show up.

Use Focus Shot again to mark all four before letting go. You should get used to fast marking in this section because you won’t have as much time in later sections.

Step 3: Hit the Eastern Targets

Now go east and do the same thing again.

Targets here move in ways that are harder to predict, so wait until they are perfectly lined up before marking them. If you rush this part, you might miss shots.

Step 4: Activate the Central Updraft

In the middle, a big fan turns on once all the ground targets are done.

Get in and use Flight to go up. This opens up the next part of the Crimson Desert Courtyard of Precision Abyss Puzzle.

Step 5: Shoot the Lower Air Targets

When you get up, you’ll see the first ring of floating targets.

You have two choices:

  • Shoot while going up
  • Or stabilize for a short time and shoot while falling.

Most players find it easier to mark targets while they are going up because they have a little more time.

Step 6: Hit the Upper Ring Targets

The second set is harder and higher.

You can do one of the following:

  • Land on the edge of the ring to have more control.
  • Or try a quick mid-air Shot of Focus

Landing is safer, especially if your aim isn’t always right.

Step 7: Activate the Final Switch

After all the targets are turned on, go back down.

Go to the north side, where a big round switch lights up. Use a jumping Force Palm to hit it and finish the puzzle.

Rewards for Completing the Puzzle

When you finish the Courtyard of Precision Crimson Desert challenge, you get:

  • Artifact of the Abyss
  • Lightning Skill (which is easy to miss)
  • Unlock fast travel for the area

One of the best rewards from the Abyss chain is the Lightning Skill, which lets you add elemental effects to your abilities.

FAQs

How many arrows do I need for the Courtyard of Precision?

It’s safe to have between 40 and 60 arrows. You can finish it with fewer, but mistakes can cost you extra shots.

No.  You have to hit a lot of targets quickly before they reset.

The floating targets section, especially the higher ring, is hard because you can’t move or time things very well.
