Crimson Desert Dante the Great Thief Bounty Guide: Location, Fix & Rewards

How to Complete Dante the Great Thief Bounty in Crimson Desert

If you are trying to complete Dante the Great Thief Bounty in Crimson Desert, you will quickly realize this is not a typical bounty hunt since it is directly linked to the House Felix Family Concerns questline. Therefore, you won’t be able to grab this bounty and finish it immediately.

Below, I have explained how you can unlock this bounty, how to capture Dante, and other details related to this quest.

As I mentioned earlier before you track Dante, you need to progress through Chapter 4 and complete the required Hernand faction quests tied to House Felix. Without that, even if you find the poster, the bounty will not work properly.

Once you do, you can obtain it by looking for the bounty notice around the outskirts of Hernand City. You will see this poster placed on wooden poles or buildings. Just interact with it, and the mission will be added to the Family Concerns quest line in your journal.

The marker will lead you to Inksworth Bindery, which is located southwest of Hernand City next to the river. This is where some players get confused because when you arrive, Dante will not appear.

To trigger the encounter, you need to liberate the Bindery from the Bleed Bandits. Clear the small group quickly, then wait for the cut scene that starts Dante’s escape.

As soon as the scene ends, Dante will try to leave this location right away. Run towards him as fast as you can. In order to bring him down to tackle him the ground. Hit him a couple of times until a tie-up prompt appears.

Do not keep attacking after that. Otherwise, you may actually kill him, and that cuts your reward in half. Once you have tied up this outlaw, simply pick him up and be ready for transportation.

There is one more problem; sometimes Dante does not spawn inside the Bindery at all. In this case, check the road and crossroads just north of the building.

However, if he still doesn’t spawn, then you can try a reset trick. Go to Howling Hills Camp via fast travel, rest so that you can sleep between 8 AM and 5 PM, and come back to the road leading to Inksworth Bindery again. In most cases, this should solve the problem and make the correct spawn happen again.

Once you’ve successfully caught Dante, simply put him on your horse and bring him back to Hernand. Hand over the prisoner to the guards to receive the full reward of 8 silver and Contribution Points.
Dante’s Bounty quest requires less fighting compared to other similar bounties like Blix or Alessio, but it is also easier due to the specific setup associated with the House Felix questline.

Furthermore, it isn’t as difficult as Warren or Haldin bounties, which involve tougher routes or extended encounters.
