The Blade Hunter: Wilderness event in Wuthering Waves is a combat-focused challenge introduced in Version 3.1, launched on February 26, 2026. This article covers everything required to complete all six Sonoro Spheres and claim full rewards. The limited-time event focuses on wave clearing, stage-specific buffs, and coin milestones.
Each stage unlocks daily and features unique Sonoro Sphere buffs. You must build teams around the featured buffs and earn at least 80,000 coins per stage to claim full rewards.

Unlock Requirements
- First, you must reach Union Level 14.
- Then complete the early Main Story quest “First Resonance” in Act I, Chapter I
- Finally, complete Main Quest Chapter III Act I: What Burns Beneath Frostlands

The event takes place in Etching Plains (Lahai-Roi). You can access it through the Event Menu or directly from the map.
Blade Hunter: Wilderness features six combat stages:
- Lahai-Roi: Become Beast
- Mechanical Dawn
- I, Biomech
- Diva Dance
- True Steel
- Funds Never Sleep
Your main objective in each stage is to defeat waves of enemies while activating Sonoro Sphere buffs.

Stage 1: Lahai-Roi – Become Beast

Buff Details
Level 0: Energy Regen is increased by 50%. Cannot be downed during the challenge.
Level 1: When dealing Resonance Liberation DMG, fire Riot Blades toward nearby enemies, dealing Havoc DMG. CD: 4s
Level 2: Resonance Liberation Cooldown is reduced by 50%. Riot Blades last longer, can orbit briefly, and their cooldown is reduced by 2s.
Level 3: Resonance Liberation DMG is amplified by 200%. For every enemy hit by Riot Blades, restore 5 Resonance Energy.
Recommended Teams
- Aemeath, Lynae, Mornye
- Chisa, Cartethyia, Ciaccona
- Iuno, Shorekeeper, Augusta
Use characters that deal strong Resonance Liberation burst damage. Remember Aemeath performs especially well due to her fast Liberation cycles. Other characters like Augusta and Cartethyia are also good options.
Stage 2: Mechanical Dawn

Buff Details
Level 0: When in Mid-air, Critical DMG has increased by 100%. The effect is removed 2 seconds after landing. Cannot be downed during the challenge.
Level 1: When in Mid-air, every 4 hits generate a Data Core, dealing Electro DMG.
Level 2: Data Core generation is reduced to every 2 hits. Each generation splits into 3 cores, increasing damage radius and causing enemies to take 60% Amplified damage.
Level 3: Data Core triggers Mind Shock, dealing additional damage.
Recommended Teams
- Luuk Herssen, Mornye, Sanhua
- Iuno, Lynae, Mornye
- Camellya, Sanhua, Shorekeeper
Characters that remain airborne for longer periods perform best. Luuk Herssen is especially effective due to his aerial attacks. Other characters like Iuno, Mornye, and Camellya will also work decently.
Stage 3: I, Biomech

Buff Details
Level 0: Dealing Heavy Attack DMG grants 60% All-Attribute DMG Bonus. Cannot be downed during the challenge.
Level 1: Dealing Heavy Attack DMG creates an Impulse Tide that pulls nearby targets and deals Aero DMG. CD: 5s
Level 2: Impulse Tide cooldown is reduced by 2 seconds. Affected targets take 60% Amplified damage.
Level 3: Impulse Tide releases a shockwave, dealing additional damage.
Recommended Teams
- Jian, Mortefi, Shorekeeper
- Galbrena, Lupa, Brant
- Iuno, Augusta, Lynae
Characters that can deal Heavy Attack DMG will benefit the most here. Resonators like Jian, Augusta, and Galbrena will be significantly effective.
