Australia | All Rounder
Father: Jonathan Digby Garth, Mother: Anne-Marie McDonald, Brother: Jonathan James Garth and Rob Garth
Kim Garth is a bustling right-arm medium-pacer and handy batter who has the rare distinction of playing international cricket for two different countries. The 30-year-old from Dublin made her debut for Ireland at just 14, playing in three World Cups before moving to Australia in 2020. Having already established herself in the WBBL with considerable success, she secured Australian residency and made her second international debut in 2022, earning ODI and Test caps the following year. Garth has become a regular in Australia’s all-format plans, with her new-ball swing a particular threat in the 50-over game, where she has taken 68 wickets in 66 matches. She was part of Australia’s 2025 ODI World Cup squad and has played in the WPL and Hundred alongside her extensive WBBL career. Her batting, while less prominent in Australia’s deep lineup, has delivered valuable contributions, including a vital 38 against New Zealand in the ODI World Cup opener. One of her more remarkable performances came in the 2021 WBBL when she had figures of 3-3-0-3 in her first spell against Sydney Thunder.
