Rohit Sharma & Team Conquered New Zealand to Bring Champions Trophy Home
In a thrilling game tonight, the Indian side has emerged victorious against New Zealand to win the 2025 Champions Trophy final. The team is bringing the prestigious trophy back to India. In a spine chilling final both the teams gave their best performance.
India’s journey to the final was remarkable, without losing a single game they have showed the world what they are made of. Captain Rohit Sharma, led the team with confidence and a calm temper, guiding them to victory. His leadership and experience were vital in keeping the team focused throughout the match.
The Indian team tonight showed great all-around performance, with both the bat and ball. Captain Sharma led the batting lineup from front and scored stunning 76 in just 83 deliveries. Shreyas being the highest run-getter for India scored a quick 48 runs. KL Rahul stranded till the end and marked the finishing line with 34* runs in just 33 balls.

Apart from the batting masterclass, Indian bowling unit was tremendous. Kuldeep Yadav and Mystery Spinner Varun took 2 wickets each while Ravindra Jadeja and M Shami were also successful having 1 wicket each under their name. The will, hardwork, and amazing resilience ensured India winning the champions trophy 2025.
New Zealand played brilliant cricket this season showing their extraordinary capabilities with little resources. M Henry being injured was a major mental setback for NZ bowling unit, while batters were unable to put a good score on the board. Daryl Mitchell scored a sensible knock of 63 runs, and Bracewell scored quick 53 runs in just 40 deliveries. Santner and Bracewell were quite economic with the ball and were able to get 2 wickets each for their team.
Despite Kiwi’s best efforts, India’s all-round strength proved dominant. The win was a result of teamwork, solid individual performances, and strong leadership. As the Indian team lifted the Champions Trophy, the crowd erupted in joy, celebrating the team’s hard-earned victory.
This victory adds another glorious chapter to India’s cricketing history, and it is sure to inspire generations of 140 crore Indians.
