With LSG sitting at the bottom of the points table with just four wins in 13 games and a poor net run rate of -0.702, Pant was clearly frustrated. During the interview, he used a strong word while talking about his team’s performance. Bishop quickly apologized for the language used on live television.

Rishabh Pant, who was retained by LSG for a massive ₹27 crore, has struggled with the bat this season too. He has scored only 286 runs at a strike rate of 140, which is below his usual standards.

Fans had mixed reactions. Some praised him for showing passion and honesty, while others criticized his choice of words. A few also raised concerns about his mental state after a long and difficult season full of losses and tactical problems.

With only a few matches left, LSG will now play for pride rather than a playoff spot.
