Electronics are a key crafting item in StarRupture, and you cannot produce them unless you unlock the Electronics Blueprint first. This blueprint is not found near your starting area and requires a long journey, tough combat, and careful timing. This guide explains exactly where you need to go, what to expect on the way, and how to safely retrieve the Electronics Blueprint without missing it.
Where to Find Electronics Blueprint in StarRupture
The Electronics Blueprint is placed within a deserted corporate property named the Selenian Mining Base. This mining facility is situated quite a distance to the east of your initial spacecraft.
The mere distance makes this blueprint a mid-to-late game target, thereby not rushing it without the right equipment.
Get to the Selenian Mining Base
Backward your expedition from the ship you initially landed at. From there, move eastwards. Each player’s base layout is somewhat different, yet the mining base is always positioned to the far east of the starting area. The journey takes long, so pack along with you sufficient ammo, healing items, and building materials.
With your movement towards the location, the area will be less safe visually. The number of enemies rises, and the less strong alien species will start to show. This is your cue that you are now at the right spot.
How does the Selenian Mining Base appear?
The Selenian Mining Base comprises a number of large industrial buildings that are clustered together. Its size and enemy density make it distinguishable from smaller deserted bases. When you get there, be ready for immediate combat. It is not a loot-and-leave location. You are going to fight for your life.
The base is under heavy protection consisting of several rounds of enemies. Some of the enemies will shoot from a distance while others will come straight to you. One of the most perilous threats in the area is the Goliath-type enemy, which can rapidly dominate you if you are not well equipped.
Surviving the Combat Encounter
If you are playing solo, you should avoid standing still during fights. Engage enemies, retreat to recharge shields, then return to combat. Do not push forward if your shields drop completely. Running away briefly is safer than getting overwhelmed.
Enemy spawns scale with the number of players in your world. If you are playing with others, expect larger waves. Clearing enemies around the buildings first makes navigating the base much easier later.
Dealing With Environmental Hazards
While exploring the mining base, you may experience a Ruptura firestorm. You will know it is coming when the sky begins to change color. If this happens, stop what you are doing and build a shelter immediately. Staying outside during a firestorm can quickly kill you.
After the firestorm ends, there is a short period where no new enemies spawn. This is the best time to explore the base freely. If you are lucky enough to reach the base during or just after a firestorm, use this window to focus on looting instead of fighting.
Finding the Correct Building
The Electronics Blueprint is not spread randomly. It always appears inside a specific structure. Look for the tallest building in the mining base. This is a triple-story building and stands higher than the surrounding warehouses.
Before rushing upstairs, check the lower floors. You can often find ammo and supplies in storage containers, which helps if you are running low after the earlier fights.
Exact Blueprint Location
Enter the triple-story building and make your way to the top floor. The Electronics Blueprint is located there, inside a loot container. Once you collect it, the blueprint is permanently unlocked for your save.
You do not need to activate or craft anything at the location. Simply picking it up is enough.
What to Do After Getting the Blueprint
Once you return to your base, you can unlock Electronics production at the Recipe Station. Electronics require advanced materials such as Synthetic Silicon, Inductors, and Stators, so make sure those production chains are already running or planned.
Because blueprint locations are limited and exploration-based, you should avoid using the blueprint at the Recipe Station until you are ready to commit resources. Blueprints can be consumed when unlocking recipes, and duplicate finds are possible.
Final Tips Before You Go
Do not attempt this run too early. The enemies at the Selenian Mining Base are far stronger than those near your starting zone. Bring strong weapons, extra ammo, and materials for emergency shelters.
If you take your time, clear enemies carefully, and wait out environmental threats, you can secure the Electronics Blueprint in a single trip. Once unlocked, Electronics open the door to high-tier automation and advanced corporation progression in StarRupture.
