Where to Find Stabilizer Blueprint in StarRupture

Stabilizer Blueprint in StarRupture

You cannot craft Stabilizers in StarRupture until you unlock the correct blueprint. This blueprint is a progression blocker for many players because it is hidden inside a hostile research outpost and placed high above ground level.

If you know the exact location and understand how to approach the area, you can secure it in a single run without unnecessary risk.

Where to Find Stabilizer Blueprint in StarRupture

Blueprint Location Overview

The Stabilizer Blueprint is situated at Claywood’s Research Outpost (also referred to as Grey Owl Outpost). This decommissioned site can be found to the northeast of your initial spaceship, surrounded by mountains.

The blueprint is neither dropped nor random but rather placed. A blue container at the top of a tall tower within the outpost contains it.

How to Reach Claywood’s Research Outpost

From your landing ship, go northeast to the mountains. The route that you will take leads to large industrial wreckage; among them is a huge engine that has been crashed and embedded in the terrain.

This landmark serves as a confirmation that you are going the right way. Alternatively, you can go northeast from Griffith’s Research Outpost, and then follow the mountain range east until the outpost is spotted.

The closer you get, the more the terrain becomes steep and enclosed. However, the research facility is clearly marked by metal walkways, pipes, and raised platforms when you are near enough.

What to Prepare Before Entering

Claywood’s Research Outpost is guarded by Vermin, including variants that attack from range by spitting venom.

If you arrive under normal conditions, enemies will engage almost immediately. You should carry a firearm with sufficient ammunition and be ready for multiple encounters. Grenades are helpful if available.

Some players time their visit shortly after a Ruptura event. During this brief scorched period, enemy spawns may be greatly reduced or absent, making the area much safer to explore.

Entering the Outpost Safely

Approach the outpost from the southwest side. From here, you can climb the mountain slope leading toward a metal walkway attached to the cliff. Move underneath the walkway by crouching and follow it until you reach the stairs that lead up to the platform level.

Once you step onto the platform, you will see the large tower structure inside the outpost. This tower is where the Stabilizer Blueprint is located. If enemies are present, it is safer to deal with them before attempting to climb.

Climbing the Tower

The blueprint is not accessible from the ground. You must climb the tower using a series of platforms and jumps. From the main platform, move to the northwest side of the tower and jump onto a narrow side walkway. Continue moving around the structure by jumping carefully between connected platforms.

With steady movement and timing, you will reach the remaining stairs that lead to the top. The jumps are precise but manageable if you avoid rushing.

Finding the Blueprint

At the very top of the tower, you will see a blue storage box located right next to the edge. When you open this box, the Stabilizer Blueprint will be your reward. Besides that, War Bonds and technology items which can be analyzed later for Data Points might also be found.

Be careful after looting the box. Sources indicate that another Vermin ambush might occur soon after the blueprint is taken.

Escaping the Area

Your first action after securing the blueprint should be to escape from the outpost. If enemies show up, it will be quick to clear the area by bringing them together and then using a grenade.

The remaining enemies can be taken care of from a distance that is safe. There is no need to explore further once you have the blueprint.

Unlocking the Stabilizer Recipe

Go back to your main location and interact with the Recipe Station. Then open the Fabricator menu and put in the Stabilizer Blueprint.

You will also have to submit Rotors, Titanium components, and the required Data Points in addition to the Blueprint for the complete recipe unlock. Stabilizers will be ready for crafting once submitted.
