The Anvil is one of the strongest early weapons you can unlock, but getting its blueprint is not easy. Blueprints are rare drops, and there is no fixed vendor or quest that guarantees one. If you know where to look and what to loot, you can greatly improve your chances.
This guide explains where the Anvil blueprint has been found and how you should approach farming it without wasting time.
How to Get Anvil Blueprint in ARC Raiders
Where the Anvil Blueprint Can Spawn
The Anvil blueprint is not limited to any one location for its spawning. It is a random drop as loot, but it is very likely to show up in raider containers.
Raider containers are special loot spots that typically have very expensive items such as weapon blueprints, outfits, and rare materials. Sometimes, the weapon cases that are located close to these containers can give the player blueprints as well when they are opened.
Due to the randomness, your target is not the Anvil, but to keep looting the places marked for raider containers’ appearances.
Best Known Location: Dam Battlegrounds Highway Gap
One of the most certain locations for the Anvil blueprint is the Dam Battlegrounds map. Underneath the elevated highway, between Raider Outpost East and East Broken Bridge, there is a hidden gap. Raider containers and backpacks are often found in this location.
You can safely get to the area by taking a zipline from the ground. If you are already on the highway, you can drop down and catch the ledge while you are falling. The drop is painful but won’t kill you. In this limited space, there are reports from players of finding several blueprints in one run, including the Anvil.
The place is peaceful, usually without any ARC patrols, and it is near the popular spawn points. If you spawn nearby, you can get there and extract in no time at all.
Alternative Location: Marano Station in Buried City
Another place where players can get the best loot is Marano Station located in the Buried City area. Rare caches and raider containers are a regular occurrence in this part of the map. One of the Versatile weapon blueprints was also found along with the other Skulker blueprints.
On the negative side, the loot is behind a breachable door, which is a security measure. Besides, breaching is no silent operation, and it may cause the other players to be alerted. As the Buried City map is also small, the chances of someone else getting to the loot before you are greater.
What to Do After You Find the Blueprint
After taking the Anvil blueprint, the next most important thing is to extract safely. If you die, you lose it. Do not keep looting only if you are very sure of your escape route.
After extraction, go to your inventory and select “Learn and Consume” option on the blueprint. This will unlock the Anvil for crafting permanently. It’s also possible to sell the blueprint, but that learning it is just so much more valuable for the long run.
Crafting Requirements for the Anvil
After the blueprint has been learned, you will require a level 2 Gunsmith bench to produce the weapon. The material cost is fair and consists of mechanical parts and gun ones. Once obtained, crafting is way cheaper than trading for the weapon from vendors.
Farming Tips to Improve Your Odds
Focus your runs on medium to high loot zones where raider containers spawn. Avoid long fights and unnecessary detours. If your spawn is far from known cache locations, it is often better to reset and try again. The Anvil blueprint is rare, but consistent runs through the right areas give you a real chance to secure it early.
