Galbrena is back in Wuthering Waves 3.1 and many players are thinking the same thing: is she still worth pulling?
She first released in version 2.7, and now her rerun banner, From Ashes, is available until March 18, 2026. If you skipped her before or missed her entirely, this is your second chance. Keep reading to find out whether she still performs well in the current meta and whether she is worth your Astrites.
Is Galbrena Worth Pulling in Wuthering Waves 3.1?

Galbrena remains one of the strongest Fusion DPS characters in Wuthering Waves. She performs consistently in endgame content and has strong self-buffs built into her kit. Once she enters Demon Hypostasis, her burst window is strong and easy to execute.
However, she is not the newest Fusion DPS character anymore. Characters like Aemeath can output higher peak damage under optimal team setups. But peak damage is not everything. Stability, rotation consistency, and team flexibility also matter.
You should consider pulling:
- If you missed Aemeath.
- If you already own Qiuyuan.
- If you are planning to invest in her signature pistol.
- If you prefer her playstyle, and are ready to build a perfect team around her.
You may want to skip:
- If you cannot secure her signature pistol.
- If you prefer saving Astrites for future banners.
- If you already own a stronger Fusion DPS character like Aemeath.
- If you don’t own Qiuyuan, Galbrena will not be able to maximize her unique damage mechanics.
In Wuthering Waves 3.1 she is no longer the top damage dealer, but she is not outdated. However, she does require proper investment.
Best Build for Galbrena
Weapon Choice
Her best 5-star weapon is Lux & Umbra, which directly amplifies Echo Skill DMG and Heavy Attack DMG. There is a significant performance gap between this and other pistol options.
Alternative 4-star weapon options:
- The Last Dance
- Static Mist
- Solar Flame
- Thunder bolt
If you plan to invest seriously in Galbrena in Wuthering Waves, her weapon makes a meaningful difference. Without Lux & Umbra, her damage drops noticeably.
Best Teams for Galbrena

When making team setups for her you should focus on Echo Skill amplification or Fusion synergy.
Echo Skill Team (Best Overall)
- Galbrena (Main DPS)
- Qiuyuan (Sub DPS)
- Shorekeeper (Support)
Qiuyuan boosts Echo Skill damage, which directly improves her damage output. Shorekeeper adds healing and team buffs. This is her safest and most reliable setup.
Mono Fusion Team
- Galbrena (Main DPS)
- Brant (Sub DPS)
- Lupa (Support Hybrid)
Fusion buffs increase overall damage consistency. Lupa strengthens Fusion scaling, while Brant also offers damage boosts along with shields and healing.
How to Play Her Properly

Her gameplay revolves around building Sinflame, entering Demon Hypostasis, and amplifying damage during that window. Her gameplay loop is simple once you understand it.
Basic gameplay loop steps:
- Use Echo Skill to generate Afterflame
- Build Sinflame to 100
- Enter Demon Hypostasis
- Cast Resonance Liberation
- Execute Basic Attack combo
- Exit with Outro
Make sure to cast their Echo Skills before switching to her so she gains Afterflame stacks. When building this character in Wuthering Waves, her Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation should always be prioritized when upgrading skills.
