Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh Full Series Announced for June and July

Zimbabwe will host Bangladesh for a complete series starting next month. Zimbabwe Cricket confirmed this on Friday. The two teams will play one Test match, three ODIs, and three T20Is across two venues.

The series will begin with a one-off Test on June 28 in Harare. The last time these teams played a Test series was in 2025. Zimbabwe won a memorable game, but Bangladesh fought back to draw the series 1-1.

After the Test match, the focus will shift to the ODIs. The three 50-over games will be played on July 6, 9, and 11. All of them will take place in Harare as well.

Then the teams will move to Bulawayo for the T20I series. These three matches are scheduled for July 15, 17, and 19.

Bangladesh last toured Zimbabwe in 2022. Back then, Zimbabwe won both the ODI and T20I series. This time, Zimbabwe comes into the series with confidence. They had a great run in the T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka. It was the first time they reached the Super Eights stage.

Zimbabwe Cricket’s Managing Director, Givemore Makoni, said the team is very happy to host Bangladesh. He expects a tough and exciting series. He also said this tour is very important for them. It brings top level international cricket back to their home grounds after their strong World Cup performance.
