RCB defeated Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the final in Ahmedabad on May 31, with Kohli smashing an unbeaten 75 off 42 balls to clinch the Player of the Match award. The victory marked RCB’s second straight IPL crown.
The couple was seen at the ashram with Kohli dressed in a kurta with a tilak on his forehead, holding the Srimad Bhagavatam, while Anushka wore a headscarf. They received prasad barefoot among devotees, blending in with the gathering.
Fans widely praised the gesture as a testament to the couple’s humble devotion, with many linking Kohli’s remarkable batting form revival to his spiritual visits including his first trip to Vrindavan in 2023. However, some critics labelled the visit a PR stunt, sparking mixed reactions on social media.
