Young Indian batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who made his debut as the youngest player in IPL 2025, is now eager to make his mark in international cricket as well. He once again proved that he is a promising player in the very first match of India A in the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025.

India A, playing their first match of the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 against the United Arab Emirates (UAE), won the toss and elected to bat. From the start of the match, Suryavanshi’s explosive innings began.

He played aggressively right from the start and completed his half-century in 17 balls, after which he surprised everyone by scoring a century in just 32 balls.

Suryavanshi, who looked in excellent form today, smashed 144 runs off just 42 balls before being caught behind in the 13th over. At one point, it looked like he would certainly score over 200 today, setting a new record.

Apart from him, captain Jitesh Sharma also played a brilliant innings and scored an unbeaten 83 runs in 32 balls, due to which the India A team scored a total of 297 runs in 20 overs.

Let us tell you that in the mega action that took place before IPL 2025, Rajasthan Royals surprised everyone by buying him for Rs 1.1 crore because at that time he was only 14 years old. However, by then, it seemed that he might not be able to make it to the playing XI for the franchise.

But Suryavanshi not only made his IPL debut but also played a brilliant inning of 101 runs in 35 balls against the Gujarat Titans, due to which he became the Indian player to score the fastest century in IPL.

Overall, Vaibhav Suryavanshi had a good season in IPL 2025. He scored 252 runs in seven matches at a strike rate of 206, including a century and a half-century.
