Netherlands Set for Historic T20I Tour of Bangladesh Starting August 30

The Netherlands cricket team is all set to tour Bangladesh for their first bilateral T20 International series. The three-match series will be played in Sylhet, beginning August 30. The visiting team will arrive on August 26 and get three days of practice before the first game.

This series is important for Bangladesh as they prepare for the Asia Cup starting on September 9. The Netherlands last played in Bangladesh during the 2014 T20 World Cup. So far, Bangladesh has won four of the five T20 matches played between the two teams. Their most recent meeting was in the 2024 T20 World Cup, where Bangladesh won by 25 runs.
