IPL Sensation Ashok Sharma Gets Surprise India A Call-Up After Fiery Show

Ashok Sharma’s phone rang. And just like that, his life changed. The 23-year-old pacer has been called up to the India A squad. He will replace the injured Yudhvir Singh in the tri-series against Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A. He is set to fly out on Tuesday.

Ashok made a big impression in IPL 2026 while playing for Gujarat Titans. He played six matches and picked up six wickets. But it was not just the numbers. It was the pace, 154.2 kilometres per hour. It was also the clever cutters that he mixed in so well.
