Bavuma’s Elbow Blow Rocks South Africa Ahead of WTC Final

Temba Bavuma’s knack for bouncing back just hit a wall; South Africa’s Test skipper is out of the domestic first-class final with an elbow injury, and the timing couldn’t be worse. With the World Test Championship final against Australia looming on June 11, the Proteas are sweating bullets after their captain pulled out of the Lions’ clash with the Titans at the eleventh hour. Now, with no word on which elbow’s acting up or how bad it is, the clock’s ticking louder than ever. Fresh off a CSA contract nod this week, he’s got the faith of the suits; but can he shake this curse in time to lead South Africa to WTC glory?
