Afghanistan Ring in Changes for One-Off Test, Bet on Fresh Faces in Spin-Heavy Attack
Ahead of their upcoming one-off Test match, Afghanistan have made significant changes to their squad, placing their trust in a blend of experienced batters and a revamped spin attack tailored for spin-friendly Indian conditions.
The batting responsibility will rest on the shoulders of Rahmat Shah, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, and all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai, who are expected to provide solidity to the Test batting lineup. In a notable move, the team management has included both Afsar Zazai and Ikram Alikhil as wicketkeeping options for the match.
