Australia Complete Clean Sweep With Dominant Seven-Wicket Win Over Bangladesh
Australia ended their T20I series against Bangladesh in style. They won the third match by seven wickets and completed a 3-0 clean sweep.
Batting first, Bangladesh never really got going. They managed only 109 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their 20 overs. Towhid Hridoy played a lone hand, scoring an unbeaten 61. But he got little support from the other end.
Spencer Johnson was the pick of the Australian bowlers. He finished with brilliant figures of 4-0-6-2, tying down the Bangladesh batters. The rest of the bowling unit also kept things tight.
The chase was a one-sided affair. Mitchell Marsh made sure of that. The Australian captain smashed 60 runs off just 28 balls. His knock was filled with power and timing. Australia reached the target in only 11.2 overs. They lost just three wickets in the process.
Matt Renshaw finished as the top run-scorer of the series. He made 113 runs in total. As a reward, he took home a Suzuki bike. It was a well-deserved prize for his consistent performance.
The Australian team celebrated the win with joyful laps around the ground. Fans called it a perfect way to end the tour. For Bangladesh, it was a series to forget. But for the visitors, it was a job done well.
