Some of the missions in this game make you fight. Some people just let you figure things out on your own. Gray Zone Warfare Silent Village is in the second group. Most players get stuck because they don’t know exactly where to go.

You go to Ban Khantao looking for answers, but all you find are clues that don’t make sense. You can only move on with the task if you interact with very specific points. If you miss even one of them, the quest will not be finished.

Once you know the way, though, the whole thing goes smoothly from start to finish.

How to complete the Silent Village Quest in Gray Zone Warfare

The Silent Village Gray Zone Warfare mission is more about finding things out than fighting. Your job is to find out what happened by going to three different places and telling what you find.

There aren’t any hard mechanics here. Getting the right interactions is the only thing that will move things forward.

You must:

• Look at an important scene in the village
• Take a southern route and check a car.
• Get to the last area close to the river

The order is more important than anything else because each step unlocks the next.

Where To Find The First Investigation Point

Take the main road into Ban Khantao and go to the far end of the village. You want to find a construction site next to a bus stop.

Once you know the signs, this place is easy to find:

• There is a tool shed close by.
• There was a red van parked nearby.
• A motorcycle parked under a small roof

Get behind the tool shed. There are a few bodies, but only one of them is important. Find the body that is leaning against the wall with blood behind it.

Get close and interact until the “Report findings” button shows up. Press it to start a short chat with Artisan. That proves your first goal.

Following The Southern Trail And Finding The Truck

After you finish the first report, leave the village and go south. You should follow the trail that goes toward the river.

Don’t hurry through this part. Enemies can show up at any time, and dying will end the quest right away.

As you walk along the trail, you’ll see a truck parked there. This is the second place you should look into.

Walk up to it and start the same “Report findings” interaction. Once you finish, the next goal will be unlocked.

Reaching The Mass Grave And Completing The Quest

Go straight ahead past the truck. Stay on the path and don’t take any extra turns.

You will soon come to a graveyard. This is the last place you need to go for the Gray Zone Warfare Silent Village quest.

Get close enough for the interaction prompt to show up, and then tell us what you found. There will be one last conversation with Artisan that explains what happened in the village.

Once that is done, the quest is marked as finished.

Rewards You Receive After Completion

Finishing the mission gives you a solid reward for the time spent exploring.

You will earn:

• 300 XP
• Reputation with Artisan
• $870 in-game currency

The reputation gain is higher the first time you complete the task and slightly reduced on repeat runs.

What Happens If You Fail The Quest

This mission has a strict penalty. If you die while the quest is active, it fails immediately.

When that happens:

• You lose reputation with Artisan
• The quest becomes unavailable for around 20 minutes

Because of this, it is always safer to move carefully, especially on the southern trail.
