Have you tried walking into Pororin Forest and got knocked out instantly? The game does not clearly tell you how you can get access to it.

To begin the Young Monk’s Request in Crimson Desert, go to the Coalvale Workshop to the east of Howling Hill Camp.
Find the young monk, who is a little boy NPC. Speak with him, he will ask you to retrieve the Mystical Pine Mushroom, which is located inside Pororin Forest within Pororin Village.
Now if you go straight into Pororin Village, your character will be shot with sleeping darts by the Shai Children and pushed out of the area. This is not a bug in the game, but the game is checking whether you have completed the Unreachable Village quest or not.
To access the village, follow these steps:
- Try entering Pororin Village multiple times
- Let the Shai children put you to sleep around three times
- This will trigger the Unreachable Village quest
- Complete the quest to unlock the area

Once you have completed the Unreachable Village quest, you can finally enter Pororin Forest and head toward the quest marker. The mushroom you need is inside a cave located at the base of a hill. From a distance, you can spot the cave more easily by looking for a wooden pole with hanging plants near the entrance.
Before going in, make sure you have arrows. You will need them inside the cave.

As you enter, your character will start falling asleep because of the glowing red mushrooms. Move slowly and use your bow to shoot these mushrooms from a distance. There are multiple of them inside, so clear them as you progress to make the path safer.
If you do not want to rely fully on arrows, you can also keep using the wake-up input and roll forward to push through the sleep effect, but this is less reliable.
Once you get deeper inside the cave and clear the area, look around for the Mystical Pine Mushroom. You may find multiple, but you only need one to complete the objective.

As soon as you pick it up, the Young Monk’s Request quest will be completed. You do not need to return to the monk, and you will receive Pine Mushrooms as a reward.
