As usual, a soft rank reset will arrive in Rocket League at the beginning of the new season, which means players will start slightly below their previous rank.

To receive a rank, players must complete 10 placement matches across all different competitive game modes. The matchmaking rating (MMR) is adjusted during this process, but when you are queuing up for matches, you will likely face opponents close to your previous skill level.

The season will also introduce a new major event called Bracket Rivalry, where players can support their favorite content creator duos competing in the tournament. From March 20 to March 26, players can claim a free Player Title for a team they support in the Item Shop. While some details about these events remain limited, more information could appear once Rocket League Season 22 officially launches.
