Blizzard has kicked off the new year by resetting the game to Season 1, and players can now earn free cosmetics through Overwatch Season 1 Twitch Drops. If you watch eligible livestreams, you can unlock rewards without spending any money.

Overwatch Season 1 Twitch Drops All Rewards

Season 1 Loot Boxes
You earn one Loot Box at each watch milestone:
- 30 minutes – 1 Season 1 Loot Box
- 1 hour – 1 Season 1 Loot Box
- 2 hours – 1 Season 1 Loot Box
- 3 hours – 1 Season 1 Loot Box
- 4 hours – 1 Season 1 Loot Box
You can earn up to five Loot Boxes in total.
Lunar New Year Cosmetics
These limited cosmetics are also part of Overwatch Season 1 Twitch Drops:
- Hua Qian Spray
- Pachiwealthy Icon
- Pachiwealthy Namecard
To unlock all three cosmetics, you must watch for a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes. Rewards unlock in order, and you must claim each one before progress continues.
When Do the Drops End?
The current Overwatch Season 1 Twitch Drops event started on February 10, 2026, and runs until March 9, 2026. After this date, you will no longer be able to earn these rewards.
Make sure you complete your watch time before the deadline.
How to Link Your Accounts
Before you can earn anything, you must connect Twitch to Battle.net.
Follow these steps:
- Go to the Battle.net website and log in.
- Open the Connections section.
- Find Twitch and select Connect.
- Sign in to your Twitch account and confirm.
Without linking accounts, your progress will not count.
How to Earn Overwatch Season 1 Twitch Drops
Once your accounts are linked:
- Go to Twitch.
- Open any stream in the Overwatch category.
- Make sure the stream has the Drops Enabled tag.
- Start watching.
Only one stream counts toward progress at a time. Switching streams too often can interrupt tracking.
How to Claim Your Rewards
Watching alone is not enough. You must manually claim rewards.
Here is what you do:
- After reaching a milestone, go to Twitch.
- Open the Drops & Rewards Inventory page.
- Click Claim on the unlocked reward.
- Launch or restart Overwatch.
Your rewards will then appear in your account.
The first Lunar New Year cosmetics reward needs to be claimed before the second reward starts its tracking period.
The viewer needs to watch the entire video to maintain their progress. Players should verify their Drops Inventory after reaching every milestone. The player needs to restart the game when their items fail to show up. The deadline for completion of all tasks is March 9 2026.
