What You Need Before You Can Join Floral Reverie?

Floral Reverie does not just accept players. You need to gather a specific set of flowers and locate the shrine that challenges you to prove your knowledge of the natural world.

You are unable to unlock the sect unless you have 100% of the needed flowers in your possession at the same time. Players overlook this condition, so be sure to not to sell or use any of the flowers until you reach the shrine. You need to safeguard the flowers until that moment.

How to Unlock the Floral Reverie Sect in Where Winds Meet?

Step 1: Collect the Five Required Flowers

Where Winds Meet has special herbs glowing slightly compared to the others. Each of these flowers represents attributes of a flower sect, Floral Reverie.

You need to collect all five flowers, usually located at the edges of forests, by the banks of rivers, and at some hidden cliffs. The spots are fixed, but the game doesn’t include a tracker, so you need to do some searching.

You add a flower to your inventory every time you collect one. Make sure not to delete or use one before the end of the quest, or you’ll have to backtrack and collect it again.

Step 2: Travel to the Hidden Garden

To the south of the map, you can see an area called the Secret Garden. This is the entrance area for the Floral Reverie sect.

If you notice a series of stone lanterns lined all around a glowing waterfall, you are on the right path. Just walk past the glowing waterfall, and you will access the inner garden.

Inside, you’ll see a stone pedestal surrounded by petals. This is where the trial begins.

Step 3: Offer the Flowers at the Stone Pedestal

Interact with the pedestal. The game will check your inventory automatically. If even one flower is missing, the pedestal will stay inactive.

If you have all five, they will float above the pedestal, and the shrine will open a path toward the Floral Reverie trial. Do not leave the garden during this step or the sequence may reset.

Step 4: Complete the Floral Reverie Trial

The trial is simple but must be done carefully:

Follow the glowing petals along the path.
Match the flowers with the correct stone altars by color and shape.
Defeat the spirit guardian that appears when the final altar is activated.

The guardian does not hit too hard, but its attacks apply poison, so keep moving and dodge when it prepares a lunging strike.

Once you defeat it, a cutscene will play showing the sect leader acknowledging your effort and purity.

After you finish the trial, a wooden gate will open in front of you. Walk through it, and the game will confirm that you have officially joined the Floral Reverie sect.

Once you enter, you gain access to their martial skills, sect missions, special crafting recipes, unique outfits, and a new training area built around botany-based techniques. You can return to the sect at any time through the fast-travel point that appears after you join.
