India | Batting WicketKeeper
Father - Rajendra Pant, Mother - Saroj Pant
Rishabh Pant is a wicketkeeper-batsman known for his attacking style, similar to Adam Gilchrist. He has played key roles in many of India’s big Test matches. Pant scored his first Test hundred in just his third match, making 114 runs in England in 2018. Later, he scored 159 runs in Sydney, helping India win a series in Australia for the first time.
In 2021, Pant made 97 in a tough match at the SCG and an unbeaten 89 in Brisbane, leading India’s side to another big series win in Australia. He has also scored centuries against big teams like England and South Africa, often playing attacking cricket even when others struggled.
In late 2022, Pant was badly hurt in a car crash, but he came back to the IPL in 2024, scoring 446 runs. After that, he joined Lucknow Super Giants and ended the season with a century. Pant has a fearless way of batting; often reaching the 90s or hitting centuries in Tests. Even before playing for India, he scored a triple-hundred and fast centuries in domestic cricket.
In T20 cricket, especially for Delhi Capitals, Pant has over 3000 runs in eight seasons with a high strike rate. He was picked up by Delhi after a great hundred in the Under-19 World Cup and has since become their top-scorer and even captain.
