HoYoverse has announced the next major update for Zenless Zone Zero, revealing when Version 2.7 will go live. The patch continues the game’s ongoing storyline and expands the playable roster with characters tied to the Angels of Delusion faction.
Most of the upcoming content was revealed during the Version 2.7 Special Program livestream, where the developers previewed new agents, events, and gameplay adjustments.
The update will roll out simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android after scheduled maintenance, introducing new activities along with several system improvements.
Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 Release Date and Expected Global Server Timings
The Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 release date is scheduled for March 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM (UTC+8). As with previous patches, HoYoverse will take the servers offline for maintenance a few hours before the update goes live.
The update launches globally at the same moment, but the local release time will differ depending on your region.

New Agents and Banner Schedule

One of the biggest highlights of Version 2.7 is the addition of two new S-Rank agents. The first phase of the update introduces Nangong Yu, completing the lineup of the Angels of Delusion faction.
In the second phase of the patch, the snake Thiren agent Cissia will appear in the limited-time banner.
The update will also feature rerun banners for Yidhari and Seed, giving players another chance to obtain these agents during the patch.
Alongside the new agents, Version 2.7 introduces several new W-Engines. These include the S-Rank weapons Serpentine Seeker and Neon Fantasies, along with the A-Rank option The Simmering Pot.
Events, Drive Discs, and Gameplay Changes
Beyond characters, Version 2.7 also introduces new activities and progression systems. Several limited-time events were revealed during the official livestream, including Chronicle of Simmering Flavors and Special Disaster Control Squad.
The update will also add two new Drive Disc sets:
- Bunny in Wonderland
- Notes from the Chained
These Drive Discs expand build options for agents and open up new team combinations.
Version 2.7 will also introduce several quality-of-life improvements. According to the livestream preview, these include updates to W-Engine storage management and improvements to the title display and player profile systems.
With the Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 release date approaching, players can expect new agents, additional equipment, and several limited-time events coming with the update.
Version 2.7 also moves the Angels of Delusion arc forward while introducing new content for players to experience across New Eridu.
