Azure Trees Are the Only Source
Azure Logs are the faunas of Azure Trees. These trees cannot be found among the others in the ordinary forests. The other kinds of logs cannot be transformed into Azure Logs, and likewise, the enemies do not drop them with consistency. If you wish to have this material, you have no choice but to track the right trees and gather them yourself.
Any axe will do for tree-cutting. The axes of superior quality cut quicker and require fewer repairs but aren’t mandatory.
How to Find the Azure Forest Biome
Azure Trees’ only home is the Azure Forest biome which is so named due to its peculiar blue color. This biome is difficult to miss once you know the signs.
Check your map for blue or blue-green spots instead of the usual green forests; the edges of these blue areas are very sharply defined against the surrounding landscape.
Azure Forests appear to be located very close to the place you first appeared. It is possible that you have to pass through several zones to get to one so make sure to pack food, weapons, and medical supplies before setting off.
How to Spot Azure Trees
Once you enter an Azure Forest, look closely at the trees. Azure Trees have blue leaves and blue-tinted wood. They are tall, dense, and grow close together.
Some normal trees can appear mixed into the biome. If you cut a tree and receive regular logs instead of Azure Logs, do not panic. You are still in the correct area. Just move to a tree with clearly blue foliage and try again.
If you want to save time, cutting down many trees in the biome will guarantee that you collect Azure Logs quickly.
Best Way to Farm Azure Logs
The fastest way to collect Azure Logs is to clear a large section of the Azure Forest. Since the trees grow densely, you can move from one tree to the next without much walking.
Using an iron or higher-tier axe helps reduce tool damage and speeds up chopping. Because you may need a large number of Azure Logs, tool durability matters more here than with basic wood farming.
It is a good idea to gather more Azure Logs than you currently need. Many recipes unlocked later also require them, and returning to the biome repeatedly can be inconvenient.
Can You Get Azure Logs Anywhere Else?
Azure Logs do not commonly appear in enemy drops. They also do not reliably spawn in chests. While you might occasionally find a few in higher-tier loot containers, this is rare and should not be relied on.
The Azure Forest is the only consistent and reliable source. If you have not found one yet, exploring the map is the only solution.
