Total War: Warhammer 3 End of Times DLC Announced: Everything We Know So Far

Total War Warhammer 3 End of Times DLC Announced Everything We Know So Far

Creative Assembly has officially revealed Lords of the End Times, the next major DLC for Total War: Warhammer III. The update marks the long-awaited arrival of Nagash, the Great Necromancer, and pushes the game toward the legendary End Times storyline from Warhammer Fantasy. The DLC is planned for Summer 2026 on PC.

This expansion is not the final DLC for Warhammer 3, but it is one of the most ambitious updates the game has seen so far. Alongside new playable characters, it introduces large-scale changes to the Immortal Empires campaign map.

Nagash Coming In Total War: Warhammer 3 End of Times DLC

The Lords of the End Times DLC will put Nagash at the top of the list. He is defined as a distinctive power that is not confined to a single undead faction. In fact, his armies are a combination of Vampire Counts and Tomb Kings, and they are further fortified by new elite undead units.

Creative Assembly has disclosed that Nagash will be depending on Mortarchs, the powerful lieutenants who are acting in his authority. Mannfred von Carstein and Luthor Harkon are among the characters that are most closely connected to this arrangement.

More undead rulers are anticipated to be involved. The introduction of the new units, such as Morghasts and the enormous Khemric Titan, is another part of the DLC.

More Legendary Lords Are Coming

The DLC will provide a total of four Legendary Lords, with Nagash as the leader. The other three will be from different factions, although their names have not been completely uncovered yet. Neferata is seen for a moment in the trailer for the announcement, which suggests that she might be included.

In addition to the premium DLC, Creative Assembly is going to offer one free Legendary Lord to all players, associated with the same End Times update, along with the paid DLC.

Total War: Warhammer 3 End of Times Will Change the Map

One of the biggest features of this DLC is how it reshapes the Immortal Empires campaign. The End Times update will add large, dynamic changes to the world map. Regions can fracture, volcanoes can erupt, and corruption like Warpstone can spread across the land.

These changes are designed to create late-game threats that can disrupt even strong empires. The goal is to make long campaigns feel less predictable and more dangerous, even after early victory goals are complete.

Archaeon and Chaos Also Get Attention

While Nagash is the headline addition, Archaeon the Everchosen and the Chaos factions will also see updates. Creative Assembly has confirmed that both Undead and Chaos gameplay will receive major mechanical changes as part of the DLC and its free update.

Not the End for Total War: Warhammer 3

Creative Assembly has been clear that Lords of the End Times is not the final chapter for Total War: Warhammer III. More DLC is planned beyond this release. The studio also confirmed that the End Times content shown so far represents an early vision and may change during development.

The DLC will launch with technical updates to the game, though it is still unclear whether Warhammer 3 will move to Creative Assembly’s newer Warcore engine.

With Nagash finally entering the battlefield and the End Times reshaping the world, Total War: Warhammer III is heading into its most dramatic phase yet.
