The Helldivers 2 x Killzone collaboration has officially returned, and this time the crossover arrives as a Legendary Warbond. The pack brings back the iconic Killzone-themed gear along with several new items, and it launches on December 18 as a permanent addition to the in-game store.
If you missed these items the first time around or want the new extras, here’s exactly how you can unlock the Warbond and what you’ll get inside it.
How to Get the Helldivers 2 x Killzone Legendary Warbond
1. Buy From the In-Game Store
You can purchase the Legendary Warbond for Killzone through the in-game store at 1,500 Super Credits.
When the Warbond is released, simply navigate through your in-game menu, click on the store, and search for the Killzone Legendary Warbond in the section for premium packs by scrolling down.
In case you lack sufficient Super Credits, either buy more from the store or earn them gradually by doing missions and collecting credits during your deployments.
2. Who Gets the Warbond for Free
Certain players will not incur any costs at all. Automatic unlocking of the complete Killzone Legendary Warbond occurs with no extra charge if you have even one Killzone item purchased during the original 2024 release.
Moreover, any Killzone items that you possess would be marked as “medal unlocked,” hence, you will not lose any medals for them.
3. If You Only Received the Gifted Items
Players who got the Killzone gifts in December 2024 but did not buy any item must unlock the Legendary Warbond for 1,500 Super Credits. After you buy it, the gifted items will still be medal unlocked.
4. If You Joined After the 2024 Release
New players who started playing after the Killzone items left the shop can unlock the Warbond normally for 1,500 Super Credits and redeem medals on the items in the usual way.
What’s Included in the Killzone Legendary Warbond
1. Weapons
You get three Killzone weapons forged by Stål. Each of them is a different method of cutting through enemy troops. The StA-52 Assault Rifle is designed for continuous firing because of its drum magazine, and hence it can be regarded as a very powerful primary weapon for the quick killing of large enemy units.
The StA-11 SMG is equipped with a helical magazine that not only feeds more bullets into the weapon but also gives it a bit of weight at the front, which is a good feature for short-range fights where mobility is needed.
Lastly, there is the PLAS-39 Accelerator Rifle, which is an energy weapon that fires in bursts and gives extremely accurate shots after a short charging time.
2. Armor and Capes
The Legendary Warbond contains two complete sets of armor. The AC-1 Dutiful is a heavy suit that has an air supply system integrated into it so your Helldiver can survive and work in places with dangerous conditions.
The AC-2 Obedient is a lighter armor meant for players who prefer moving faster and being flexible, especially on missions that require either making wide movements or taking long shots with high accuracy.
Both armors are provided with the Acclimated passive which cuts down the damage from fire, gas, acid, and electricity by 50%. The matching cape for each armor will also be with it so that your Killzone look will be completed.
3. Cosmetics, Patterns, and Titles
The Warbond also contains a selection of cosmetic additions. You get the Strength in Our Arms and Defender of Our Dream player cards, along with the Assault Infantry player title.
You can also equip the new Extrasolar Ash pattern to your Exosuits, FRV, Hellpods, and Pelicans to complete the theme across your entire loadout.
When the Killzone Legendary Warbond Releases
The Helldivers 2 x Killzone Legendary Warbond launches on December 18 at 7 AM PT / 2 PM GMT / 3 PM CET. Once it goes live, you can buy it immediately from anywhere you play the game. Note that you cannot unlock this Legendary Warbond with a Premium Warbond token; you must use Super Credits.
