If you are looking to farm Rosemary quickly and efficiently, then this guide will show you exactly how to get Rosemary in Crimson Desert.
Where to Find Rosemary in Crimson Desert

Rosemary is commonly found in the Hernand region of the map, specifically inside buildings and stores. It is not a rare resource; however, the way you acquire it is crucial to the amount of Rosemary you get.
Rosemary can be also found in the wild; however, this is much slower than farming inside buildings.
The easiest way to get Rosemary is to simply buy it from stores. Visit stores such as the Provisioner’s Shop, the Grocer’s Shop, or the Tannery in Hernand Town. Inside these stores, you will usually find herbs hanging from the walls. Each bunch of herbs usually costs around 8 copper coins.
If you explore the houses, you will see that there is a pattern, and the most efficient way of getting them in large numbers is by stealing. The game doesn’t really force you into this, but it is the most efficient way of getting large numbers of them.

If you’re curious about how the player is able to collect hundreds of these in no time, the answer is quite simple. The player just goes into the houses, collects the herbs, waits out the alert, and goes into the next one.
Before you start, there are two things you need:
- A Mask, which will allow you to avoid getting penalized for stealing
- A few Keys, which will allow you to enter more houses
Masks can be obtained by killing bandits or buying them from the back alleys. The keys, while not necessary, are very useful.
Now, once you’re ready, enter Hernand Town and start going into the buildings in the northern, southern, and eastern areas first. These areas have the most houses.
Here’s how the farming works:
- Go into the building, collect the Rosemary, and then go into the next one
- Repeat this pattern, collecting the Rosemary, waiting out the alert, and going into the next one
Most buildings will yield 3–5 bunches. Some buildings will yield more. A full run can give around 100 Rosemary in over 10–15 minutes. While buying them will take longer, this is much faster.
Alternative Ways to Get Rosemary in Crimson Desert
If stealing is not your thing, then buying is a viable option. It is slower and costs money, but it is completely safe.
While it is possible to pick up Rosemary from the wild, it is slower than stealing from buildings since the Rosemary plants are not as closely packed.
Another piece of information that might prove useful is that there are other options besides Rosemary that can be used to make the Palmar Pills. Peonies are also a viable option. They are found outside of Hernand and can be picked up without any danger. It is a big help while waiting for the Rosemary plants to respawn. It takes two days of in-game time for the plants to respawn.
To craft the Palmar Pills, simply use the alchemy system to combine Rosemary and Water.

Tips to Farm Rosemary Efficiently
- Wait for the crime meter to clear up completely before leaving buildings
- Focus on areas with a higher density of houses
- Keep at least 3 to 4 keys on hand
- Switch between Rosemary and Peonies collection while waiting for the plants to respawn
Getting Rosemary in Crimson Desert is not difficult. Farming it efficiently changes how one plays the game. While buying is a viable option for a little while, stealing is the clear winner for a large supply. After getting into the rhythm of clearing buildings and managing the crime meter, there is no danger of running out of crafting materials.
