What the Deadline Blueprint Does
The Deadline Blueprint brings forth one more powerful gadget—the explosive that you can craft. First, you press it down on some flat ground or open space, just like a timer and move to a safe distance.
The explosion occurs as soon as the timer goes off. Shooting it will not set it off prematurely, and once its green light is on, it cannot be turned off. This makes it ideal for traps, ambushes, and area denial.
How to Obtain the Deadline Blueprint
The only way to have the Deadline Blueprint is to loot it during the raids. It never drops from a quest. It can be found on any map but it is very infrequent. The most successful strategy is to look for it in high-value buildings, locked rooms, and loot containers.
The blueprint spawns randomly, so there is no guaranteed spot. However, players have reported finding it more frequently in certain areas across the maps.
Best Maps and Areas To Search
In Dam Battlegrounds, focus on tall or secured buildings like the Control Tower, the Power Generation area, Ruby Residence, and Pale Apartments.
In Buried City, search dense housing and civic buildings such as Santa Maria Houses, Grandioso Apartments, Town Hall, and structures inside the New District.
In Spaceport, check the Arrival and Departure buildings, Control Tower A6, and the Launch Towers. These zones often hold higher-tier loot.
In Blue Gate, explore Pilgrim’s Peak, Raider’s Refuge, the Ancient Fort, and the underground section below the Warehouse.
In Stella Montis, look inside Medical Research, Assembly Workshop, the Business Center, and the Western Tunnel. Security lockers here are worth opening.
No matter the map, open every container you see. Security lockers and indoor loot rooms give better results than open areas.
Can You Buy the Deadline Instead?
You can sometimes buy the Deadline explosive from the trader Apollo. This does not unlock the blueprint. His stock is limited and unreliable, so it is not a long-term solution. Crafting is the only stable way to use the item often.
How To Unlock and Craft the Deadline
Once you find the blueprint, go to your Lobby Inventory. Select the blueprint and choose Learn and Consume. This unlocks the recipe forever.
After that, you can craft the Deadline anytime, as long as you have the materials and station level.
To craft the Deadline, you need access to an Explosive Station at Level 3. You also need three Explosive Compounds and two Arc Circuitry.
Salvaging and Recycling the Deadline
If you no longer need a crafted Deadline, you can break it down. Salvaging gives you one Explosive Compound and one Arc Circuitry. Recycling gives you one Explosive Compound. This helps when you need materials or space.
