How to Unlock Lord of Blood (Mohg) in Nightreign?
Mohg is not part of the base game. You must have The Forsaken Hollows DLC installed for him to appear in expeditions.
During the second night of the Dreglord expedition, you may face either Demon Prince or Lord of Blood. If your first-night bosses were Curseblade and Divine Beast Warrior, Mohg is guaranteed for Night Two.

1. Pick Up Instruments That Prevent Blood Loss
A good number of Mohg’s attacks put bloodflame which gradually decreases your health points. Before the beginning of the Second Night, hoard Stanching Boluses, take relics that minimize blood loss accumulation, and bring sufficient healing for lengthy battles.
Bleed can still affect Mohg, so it’s still a good idea to bring a weapon that has Hemorrhage buildup.
2. Make Sure to Get a Purifying Crystal Tear

Mohg’s slow wind-ups leave clear openings for heavy hits and jump attacks. These strikes also build stagger quickly, and a staggered Mohg is vulnerable to critical damage.
However, melee players must disengage whenever he prepares bloodflame throws or aerial slams, as these deal high damage in close range.
Mohg’s poise is lower than it seems. Jump attacks, colossal weapons, and charged heavies can interrupt him regularly and create windows for critical hits.
